Aanat Films was founded in April 2010 in Ramallah to set the grounds for the development and production of independent edgy films. Our goal is to create an alternative workflow and production process for Palestinian films.
Aanat films prides itself at being a home for young writers and directors. Current productions include “Desert Dogs” directed by Ihab Jadallah Supported by AFAC and “Revisiting Super Heroes” directed by Shadi Habib Allah Supported by A.M Qattan Foundation.
Our titles include a hybrid collection of works from filmmakers and artists participating in prestigious exhibitions such as Mapping Subjectivity 2011 at MoMa Museum NY and competed at prestigious festivals such as Clermont Ferrand International Film Festival 2011, and Abu Dhabi Film Festival 2011 among a long list.
In addition Aanat Films is an award-winning full service Palestinian Production Company. We pride ourselves in creating innovative high quality content for the corporate, governmental, non-governmental and independent film sectors, providing fully integrated services from conception to delivery. We produce a diverse range of moving image content using state-of-the-art film, video, digital and web techniques, to creatively convey our clients’ messages.
Founder of Aanat Films, is an award-winning Palestinian filmmaker and producer Ihab Jadallah completed his B.A studies in Audio Visual Communication at CEU San Pablo, in Valencia, Spain in 2004, after which he received a three-year scholarship to study filmmaking at the Center for Cinematographic Studies of Catalonia in Barcelona. He has written, directed, and produced several highly acclaimed short films and documentaries. As a Producer, Ihab received the Producer Award at the Dubai Film Connection in 2009.
